PostSubject: 'X Factor' flops turn down tour deal   Tue Aug 19, 2008 5:16 pm

X Factor chief Simon Cowell has been trying to recruit double act Ant and Seb for the show's live tour.

The judges were in hysterics when the brothers auditioned with their bizarre version of Peter Andre's 'Mysterious Girl', as seen on Saturday night's episode. They were later removed from the audition room by security after refusing to take no for an answer.

Despite casting doubt on the pair's future in the industry, Cowell has decided that they would be perfect for the arena tour, which traditionally includes a slot for the show's poor performers. However, the siblings have refused to take part because they do not want to look foolish.

An insider told the The Sun: "Simon thinks they'll be hilarious. Every time we call, someone slams the phone down. Some people, eh?"

The X Factor continues on Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1
